Who I work with
I work with senior, purpose-driven professionals who lead in complex environments — most often across education, the arts, culture, technology, and international aid.
Some hold executive or senior leadership roles within organisations.
Others lead their own businesses, practices, or high-stakes creative initiatives.
What they have in common is scale of responsibility — for people, strategy, culture, and outcomes — and the need for a confidential, intellectually rigorous space in which to think clearly.
Leaders come to this work at different moments:
-
during transition or increased responsibility
-
when complexity has outpaced existing leadership habits
-
when performance is strong, but clarity, capacity, or confidence needs to deepen
I work with established leaders who want to strengthen decision-making, enhance relational impact, and design systems that are both effective and sustainable.

How I Work
Depth, training, and psychological rigour
I am an ICF-accredited coach with extensive post-qualification training in depth-oriented and evidence-based psychological approaches. My work is informed by:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) — a framework that helps leaders understand and work with their inner dynamics, competing drives, and protective patterns, rather than fighting or suppressing them
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — supporting leaders to identify and shift unhelpful thinking patterns that shape behaviour and decision-making
-
Trauma-informed practice — ensuring the work is safe, ethical, and attuned to how stress and past experience shape nervous system responses
-
Gestalt and somatic approaches — working with awareness, presence, and what is happening in the here-and-now, not just analysis
-
Neuroscience and Compassion-Focused approaches — supporting regulation, resilience, and sustainable performance under pressure
This allows us to work at depth, without losing practicality.
We attend to the inner world that shapes leadership — while staying grounded in real decisions, relationships, and performance.
Psychological depth and practical impact
In our work together, you will explore:
-
the fears, assumptions, and internal drivers shaping your leadership
-
habitual responses under pressure
-
relational patterns that affect teams and systems
At the same time, you will receive clear, applicable support to help you:
-
think more strategically
-
strengthen decision-making
-
lead with greater authority and steadiness
-
perform effectively in day-to-day leadership realities
The work is psychologically informed coaching, integrating depth, rigour, and practical application.
We attend to the inner dynamics that shape leadership while maintaining a clear focus on decisions, relationships, impact and outcomes.
Partnership, ethics, and professionalism
Coaching is a privileged position. It carries influence and responsibility.
I do not position myself as neutral, nor do I tell you what to do. We work as thinking partners.
Because of my depth training, I have undertaken extensive self-reflection and supervision to understand my own blind spots, motivations, and use of power. This is essential to ethical work at this level.
Confidentiality is fundamental.
I engage in regular professional supervision to ensure rigour, safety, and quality.
Our work is supported by a private coaching platform, where we build a shared coaching portfolio over time.
You will have:
-
access to session notes and reflections
-
tailored worksheets and prompts to support integration
-
a private journal space for ongoing thinking
-
the ability to share insights and reflections with me between sessions
I place high importance on what happens between sessions.
The relationship does not begin and end with the hour.
This is an ongoing, attentive partnership — designed to support sustained change, not one-off insight.
The experience I bring
I meet you where you are-
Executive & Leadership Coaching
I bring over twenty years’ experience as a senior leader and leadership advisor, working at director and executive level across the education, arts, and cultural sectors.
I have coached senior leaders responsible for whole organisations and complex systems — supporting them to navigate significant change, clarify purpose and direction, strengthen leadership teams, and shape cultures that are aligned, resilient, and values-led.
This work often sits at the intersection of strategy, people, and meaning: helping leaders think clearly under pressure, lead through uncertainty, and hold responsibility without losing perspective.
Career Coaching
I work with professionals at pivotal moments — when something no longer fits, or when a new chapter is opening.
I have supported individuals to:
-
step into new senior roles
-
re-position their careers with greater intention
-
leave employment to establish their own businesses, consultancies, or creative practices
This work is about taking stock, reconnecting with strengths and values, and shaping a career direction that is both meaningful and sustainable.
Facilitation
I design and lead team days, leadership away-days, and professional development programmes for organisations working in complex, purpose-driven environments.
My facilitation is grounded in conscious leadership models, supporting teams to:
-
work more effectively across difference
-
surface what is often unspoken
-
engage productively with complexity and tension
-
develop shared ownership of challenges and solutions
The focus is on creating conditions for clear thinking, collaboration, and intelligent action.
Management Development
Alongside my independent practice, I work as an embedded coach within organisations across sectors including education trusts, charitable and aid organisations, and global creative and technology environments.
In these roles, I am sponsored to support managers as they grow into leadership with greater authority, clarity, and emotional intelligence — strengthening their ability to:
-
handle difficult conversations
-
communicate with presence
-
build effective, motivated teams
-
develop a leadership style that is both human and high-performing

How I see leadership
Leadership is not a set of skills.
It’s a relationship:
with authority
with responsibility
with uncertainty
with yourself
When leaders become more self-aware and emotionally free, they don’t just change their behaviour —
they change the atmosphere around them.
This is how systems shift. Quietly. Indirectly. Lastingly.
THIS ISN'T JUST COACHING SESSIONS.
It's a Partnership.
Outcomes & changes
Leaders who work with me consistently experience:
Greater clarity and confidence
A stronger sense of direction, purpose, and trust in their own judgement — particularly during moments of transition or uncertainty.
Calmer, more grounded leadership
Moving from constant doing and internal pressure to steadiness, presence, and emotional regulation under real-world demands.
Deeper self-awareness with practical impact
Clear insight into patterns, fears, and internal drivers — paired with tools that translate reflection into meaningful change.
Renewed creative and professional confidence
Feeling bolder, more authentic, and able to lead and express their voice with integrity — whether in teams, organisations, or independent work.
Sustainable growth beyond the coaching
Leaving with frameworks, language, and internal capacity that continue to support them long after the formal work ends.
The work is often described as clarifying, grounding, and life-changing — not because it provides answers, but because it brings leaders back to themselves, with greater capacity to lead from that place.
